  • ABOUT 
    The International Student Organization in America(ISOA) is membership organization of international students who are currently studying in the USA. The aim of the organization is to provide all students with the unique care and service they require. A special attention is paid to the needs of foreign students during their course of study.

        

      ISOA provides information concerning with academic facilities, students exchange programs, scholarship, grants and various Financial Aid programs, legal advisement and assistance, and summer job opportunities.
      ISOA assists its members with discounted services which are designed for the students population at special student rates.
      ISOA maintains direct communication with the students through the organization's newsletter "The International Spirit", a Web site and a net of local representative in key campuses nationwide.

    ISOA MEMBER SERVICES
    ISOA members are entitled to a variety of services which are especially designed with the students' needs and life style in mind.

    **   The International Spirit - The ISOA newsletter for and from international students studying in the USA. Mailed in advance to members' home address (you are first to get the current list of scholarships and grants . . . )
    **   THE BEST- a comprehensive health insurance plan which is simply THE BEST.
    **   International Student ID Card - WORLDWIDE Accepted, entitles ISOA members to special rates and deals, and may be used as a photo ID.
    **   Student Travel Center - Special discounts & student rate tickets with various airlines, car rentals, hotel reservations, etc.
    **   Student Summer Tours - Exploring America the INTERNATIONAL way.
    **   Broadway Shows - Special deals and discounts on most running performances.
    **   Information on Scholarships & Grants - An updated list of scholarships, grants, and research funds. A partial list is published in the International Spirit.
    **   Home Returning Group - Upon the completion of his course of study, and before he returns to his home-country, the student may join the Home Returning Group and enjoy special arrangements for the purchase of 220V appliances, marine shipment and marine insurance.
    **   220V Appliances - Special discounts and variety of brand-names.
    **   Marine Shipment Worldwide - special low rates for students.
    **   Marine Insurance Worldwide - By a world-wide service provider.

    WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE ORGANIZATION
    Eligible person is a student or scholar who is engaged in education activity or educational-related research, and their family members. To maintain an active status, the member must pay their annual dues.
